Requirements for Hall of Fame

Player Qualification:

  • Current of former Major League Baseball player
  • Former collegiate All American
  • Nomination from peers and 75% of participating alumni favorable vote
  • Hold a Nationals offensive, defensive or pitching record at junior or senior level

**to be eligible player must have completed their junior and/or senior season

**player must be a minimum 5 years removed from their last season with the Nationals

Coach Qualifications:

  • Nominated by the Board of Directors or an alumni with 75% participating alumni
    favorable vote
  • Head Coach of a team that wins a National Championship

**coach must be a minimum of 5 years removed from their last season with the Nationals

Team Qualifications:

  • Must win a National Championship or a World Series

**Team must be a minimum of 5 years removed from its championship season

Honorary Qualifications:

  • An Alumni who is nominated by the Board of Directors and voted favorable for demonstrating extraordinary contributions on and off the playing field
  • An individual, family, team, or business that has been nominated by the Board of Directors and voted favorable for demonstrating extraordinary contributions to the
    development and success of the Midwest Nationals organization
